Found in an antique mall in Kentucky, this wooden bowl immediately caught my eye. I'd never seen anything like it! This is a sculptural, organic mid-century modern bowl, hand carved from solid wood with a distinct undulating rim. From the studio of celebrated American wood artist, David Auld. Crafted in Haiti, and one of his larger pieces, Mr. Auld’s Bowls combine a mastery of craftsmanship with a sculptor’s sensibility and add dynamic impact wherever they are placed.
